December 2007:On December 10th 2007 the first Hessian steel material railport was opened next to Darmstadt`s central station in the presence of the Hessian State Minster of Economic Affairs and Employment, Dr. Alois Rhiel, the Mayor of Darmstadt, Mr. Walter Hoffmann, the chairman of the Railion Deutschland AG, Dr. Klaus Kremper and the Donges Stahlbau GmbH head of company management, Dr. Volker Adam.

Wednesday 07. March 2007:Darmstadt: The Arcapita Bank B.S.C. of Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, has commissioned the construction of a 6-storey office building. Donges will supply the steel construction for the bearing frame and all floor levels, the corrosion protection and the TRP-concreting sheets. The architect is Skidmore, Owings & Merril LLP, New York, USA, the structural engineering has been made by Werner Sobek, New York, USA.

September 2005:On 9th September 2005, Darmstadt-based Donges Stahlbau GmbH, in a consortium with Hermann Kirchner Hoch- und Ingenieurbau GmbH, Bad Hersfeld, has received the contract for the construction of a single-spar cable-stayed bridge in the course of the Rhine crossing of the B58n (bypasses Wesel/Büderich).
