Construction project:
Aircraft hangar for the simultaneous maintenance of three large-body aircraft of the Boing 747/400 type.
Description of works:
A 152.10 m self-supporting door truss spans the clear door opening. The roof framework, designed as a shear panel, rests statically defined on the two gable wall slabs and the horizontal K-bracing in the rear wall. Four independently motorised double door wings permit opening of the hall in any place, up to 3/4 of its width. The facade and door areas were faced with glass panes and ceramic tiles.
