Description of works:
The two steel composite superstructures are executed as steel trapezoidal box girders with composite roadway slabs. The steel construction is lifted in with cranes. The river span, 380 tonnes in weight and 86.60 m in length, is floated in on a barge and lifted into final position with a strand jack. The roadway deck slabs are cast with formwork carriages. The first superstructure is installed on provisional piers and temporarily taken into operation. On completion and commissioning of the second superstructure, the first is repositioned transversely.

Donges fabricated, delivered and erected the complete steel structure, including corrosion protection.
