Renewal of the river bridge and conversion of the foreland bridge of the Plattling Isar bridge in the course of highway B8 Regensburg - Passau

Description of works:

The new river bridge is a 3-span continuous beam system with the tied arch above the river opening and a tee beam in the outer spans. The steel construction is erected behind an abutment in “timed shifting” and then incrementally launched”.
 

Deliveries/Works:

Donges fabricated, delivered and erected the complete steel structure, including corrosion protection.
